The grape region is worth exploring all year round due to the many beautiful cycling routes and walks.


In Overijse & surroundings you can drive your own cycling classic , in true Flandrien style, on the roads of the Brabantse Pijl.


Would you like to conquer the legendary slopes of this course for a day in the footsteps of Philippe Gilbert and thunder over the cobblestones. Then this is the ideal cycling route for you!

Along the way you can catch your breath in one of the atmospheric cycling cafes on the course.


The Brabant Arrow cycling route is 98 km long. You can start at the station square in Overijse or at the Zoete waters in Oud-Heverlee. The route is signposted, but you can also download the gpx coordinates.

Hiking trails in the Grape Region


The grape region also offers you endless walking pleasure.

The South Dijleland hiking network connects 300 km of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Dijle valley, from Overijse and Tervuren to Leuven.


Explore the Sonian Forest, the largest forest in Belgium, (1.5 km from the hotel) and take beautiful walks among the ancient beech and oak trees.
